Our Mission

The mission of the CARD Virginia School is to help every child achieve his or her full potential while engaging family members as genuine partners to ensure that learning in the classroom continues in the home setting.

The CARD Virginia School achieves its mission by using a comprehensive approach to each child’s development, including:

• Identifying and focusing on the unique needs of each child;
• Communicating and collaborating with each child’s family;
• Working with local agencies to advocate for children and families facing the challenges of autism spectrum disorders;
• Ensuring results-oriented teaching, ranging from academic to self-help; and
• Conducting and supporting scientific research of educational teaching methods and curriculum.
